Truemotion/Vertical,yoursonarwillneedadifferentgainsetting
forthebeamsdirectedtowardsthebottom.

RCGmeansReverberationControlledGain.Thisisa
two-dimensionallteringofthereceivedechoesinorderto
suppressunwantedsurfaceandbottomreverberation.
IfyouselectStrong,thebottomechoeswilldisappearaltogether
ifthebottomisat,whileschoolsofshclosetothebottom
willbeeasiertosee.
NotethatscatteredshmaybemoredifculttospotiftheRCG
functionisactive,asthesecanbemisinterpretedasreverberation.
ItisthereforeimportantthatyouusetheRCGwithgreatcareif
youraresearchingforscatteredsh.
