WhenBowup/Audiomodeisselected,theupperhalfofthe
screenshowsabow-uppresentation,whilethelowerpartis
usedforarecordingoftheaudiochannel.Theaudiochannelis
shownwithacontinuouswhitelineinthehorizontalpicture,
anditcanbetrainedinanydirection.Therecordedechoesare
adirectreplicaoftheechoesunderthewhiteaudioline.As
theaudiochannelisrecordedoveraperiodoftime,thismode
isespeciallyusefulfordetectionofweakechoesmixedwith
reverberationornoise.Theinformationrecordedbytheaudio
channelisalwaysstoredinthecomputer,evenifanothermodeis
selected.Thatmeansthatthisrecordingwillalwaysbepresented
whenselectingtheBowup/Audiomode.Notethatthevessel
symbolcanbemovedtoanypositioninthehorizontalviewwith
thecursorandOffCentrebuttonontheOperatingPanel.
